Privacy Policy
Chromagraphx, LLC ("Chromagraphx," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit chromagraphx.writ.app, contact us, upload a file, or place a print or signage order, how we use that information, and the choices you have.
1. Information You Give Us
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, company name, and billing or delivery address when you submit our contact form, request a quote, or place an order.
- Project information — the specifications, quantities, materials, deadlines, and instructions you share so we can quote and produce your job.
- Files and artwork — the print-ready files, images, logos, fonts, and other materials you upload or send us for production.
- Correspondence — the content of emails, form messages, and notes from phone calls about your project.
We do not process credit card numbers through this website. Payment is arranged separately, and any card details you provide are handled by our payment processor or taken in person, not stored on this site.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our host records standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to keep the site secure and running properly, and to understand which pages people find useful.
3. Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. These fall into two groups:
- Necessary cookies — set by WordPress and our caching software to make the site work, remember your form input, and serve pages quickly. The site cannot function properly without these.
- Third-party cookies — set when you interact with an embedded or linked third-party service, such as our file upload form or an external map. These are governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the site behave.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Prepare quotes and respond to your enquiries;
- Produce, proof, finish, deliver, and install your order;
- Invoice you and keep accurate business and tax records;
- Contact you about the status of a job, a proof awaiting approval, or a question about your files;
- Maintain the security and performance of our website;
- Meet our legal, accounting, and permitting obligations, including sign permit filings where you have asked us to handle them.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.
5. Your Files and Artwork
The files you send us are yours. We use them only to produce the job you ordered, and we do not license, resell, or share them with anyone outside the people and suppliers working on that job.
We retain production files for a period after a job completes so that reprints and reorders can be run without you having to resend everything. If you would prefer your files be deleted after production, tell us and we will remove them.
We may photograph finished work for our portfolio and to show examples of what we produce. If your job is confidential, or you would rather it not appear in our samples, let us know before production and we will keep it out.
6. Who We Share Information With
We share information only where it is needed to run our business, and only to the extent necessary. This may include:
- Service providers — our web host, our file upload form provider, our email provider, and our accounting software, each of whom processes data on our behalf.
- Production and delivery partners — installers, couriers, and specialist finishers who need your delivery address or site details to complete your job.
- Government agencies — permitting authorities, where you have asked us to file a sign permit on your behalf.
- Legal and professional advisers — where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or lawful request, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Our Upload button opens a file transfer form hosted by JotForm, and our contact section links to Google Maps. When you use those services you are interacting with the provider directly, and their privacy policies apply to what they collect. Our site also links to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any external site.
8. How Long We Keep Information
We keep your information only as long as we need it. Quotes and enquiries that do not become orders are kept for a limited period in case you come back to us. Order records, invoices, and related correspondence are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes under applicable law. Production files are kept as described in section 5.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information in our care, including encrypted connections to this website, access controls on our systems, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you need to send us genuinely sensitive material, contact us first and we will arrange a suitable method.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you;
- Request that we correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- Ask us to delete your information or your production files, subject to records we are required to keep;
- Ask us not to feature your job in our portfolio;
- Unsubscribe from any messages you no longer wish to receive.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law. We will honor those rights where they apply. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
11. Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be made clear on the page.
